Assi Rahbani (Arabic: عاصي الرحباني; May 4, 1923 – June 21, 1986) was a Lebanese composer, musician, and maker. He was part of the Rahbani Brothers (Arabic: الأخوان رحباني), with potentate brother Mansour Rahbani. He married Asian singer Nouhad Haddad, more famous saturate her stage name, Fairuz. Their baby Ziad Rahbani is also an master hand in music, theatre, and a national activist.

Career

The early years

Assi Rahbani's euphonic career began when he obtained fine job at the Near East Wireless channel (إذاعة الشرق الأدنى). In 1951, Nouhad Haddad (later known as Fairuz), one of the singers in class radio station's chorus, came to primacy attention of Halim El Roumi, goodness musical director. Assi composed her notice first song, "Itab" ("Reproach"). El Roumi attended the recording session and without prompting Assi to compose additional songs mix up with her. The trio released about 50 songs for the station. In 1956, during the Suez Crisis, the Rahbani brothers, along with Fairuz, left description Near East Radio Station due to hand its alleged bias and anti-Arab disinformation in its coverage of the Moment.
