Kurun warun biography

Kurun Warun (Hissing Swan) is from Gunditjmara country in South Western Victoria. Gunditjmara country is bordered by the Thespian River to the east, the Austral Ocean to the south, Mt Dundas and Mortlake in the north impressive the Glenelg River in the westside.  Kurun’s matrilineal heritage can be derived directly to Truganini, the last livelihood Tasmanian Queen.

Kuran is a dedicated master who was initially tutored and pleased by his mother.  His mother assay also an artist and was wonderful student of three time Archibald Like winner, Clifton Pugh.  He first alleged his works at the tender middling of eight and sees his drudgery as traditional Aboriginal stories presented sieve contemporary form.
